farmall cub John Deere 310 Backhoe Loader Ventrac 4131
I have a John Deere 310 Backhoe loader. It has a closed center hydraulic system. Pressure line from pump goes and tees to the accumulator, and goes to power steering. The other part of the pressure line goes to another tee for Fel and on to the backhoe. The pressure line going into the joined 6 spool valves does not go directly in but goes into a tee there leaving a plug in one end of the tee. There is also a return lined plumbed the same way. I want to add another spool or two to run a thumb for my backhoe and possibly a woodsplitter. flow rate is 26 GPM pressure to 3000 psi. Most post are about open center system. Could this be as simple as plumbing closed center valves into the two plugged ends of the tees.

Definetely just to "T" into pump supply line, but it might be little more complicated than that too......it is very possible it could be a system that require a load sensing connection from that new control valve....
You have to give more info about the system design....get the hydraulic symbol schematic and post it.....

Thanks for your reply. I do not have a drawing with symbols. I only have a drawing showing components and flow. I have read information on the six spool stack type valve. It states oil is delivered on demand (when spool moved). all valves have lift checks some have relief valve some have anticavitation valves and the swing has orifices to slow down movement. I can't find any mention of load sensing

I appreciate your input and wish I had the schematic, but have not found one yet. i need help because can not afford to repair because of mistakes.
