Jeff9366- I provided an email with this TBN post link to Rick at ETA and he could not be very helpful. The only information he could provide was that a box blade needs to cover the rear track and not much farther, and that I could go as heavy as I felt necessary, according to my needs and conditions. He did not seem to want to commit to anything as he had not seen my conditions. I hoped this post would have provided sufficient information. But I guess it did not.

So I have to assume this means their box blades probably will not suit my purposes and I should be looking elsewhere. Too bad. I really liked their web site and videos and was planning on purchasing a small list of their products.

sdef,
I pull a 6' Howse heavy duty box blade that weighs a little over 500#, and have no problem pulling it up hill with a full load of gravel. I would think the rippers would pull any smaller rocks out of the ground. BTW, howse does build a 66" unit as well. Luckily I don't have rocks to deal with down in south Mississippi!

Hi dolfan. What kind of tractor did you get from Hartley's? I really like them (Jason) so far and have been over there a few times. But I am finding they are about 10% higher in the quoted price than what others are mentioning. Were you able to dicker with their quoted price?

I got a 3033H with a FEL and Box Blade, They seem to be Pretty good people. I hada seat switch break and they took one off a new tractor so I did not have to wait on it. I didn't much of I think they discounted the Box Blade some, But when you talk about JD, Kubota, and New Holland in the area I take them hands down.
