How does the tractor do with the plows they are as big as the tractor. Also why did you take the loader off with the plows. Seams if you get in to almost getting stuck you can use the loader to get out.

I had some difficulty when I first used the plow because I'd never plowed B4 -:rolleyes:-and did not have the depth-gauge wheel, and because I was plowing a hay field with heavy sod. In fact I took off 1 bottom to finish the first acre I plowed. But since my first acre, I added the depth-gauge wheel and made some adjustments based on input from folks on this site and this year I plowed without incident. Also, everything I plowed this year had been worked last year.That said, if I were to buy another tractor it would be a heavier machine, although plowing was the only task I had difficulty with with the B7800. The plow is a 12" Howse. I took the loader off and added the weights -275#-just to try something different. I thought having more weight over the front wheels might make a difference, but I'm not sure as to how much difference it made, if any.
