Post options greyed out

Within the last few weeks, I have no longer been able to select options, such as bold, italics, insert link, etc. Is there a new default, or something? I've looked in my profile and can't find anything.

Those functions seem to be working for me. I'm no computer expert. Have you changed your browser program?

I've made no changes. In fact the same browser tab has probably been open the whole time. The only options I have are to Attach Files or Insert Quotes.

But one thing I just thought of is that I use two different computers - still Chrome on both but one is Mac and the other PC.

Pull down those three little dots to get this menu,
then click the red brackets.
