Post hole digger.......

Has anyone used a post hole digger on a 7610? I want to start putting up my horse fence but Im not sure if my 7610 will do the job effortlessly. I need to use a 6" auger and go about 42" down. Any coments, suggestions, or past expierences would be great..

I have used a woods posthole digger on my B7800 with a 9" auger. It handled it just fine with no problems, so I think your 7610 should do the same. More of an issue than the tractor is the soil, hard clay and large rocks/roots will be a problem for anybody. If you have rear hydraulics I really recommend the hydraulic downforce for the posthole digger, makes a big difference going through a hard clay layer we had at my place around 20 inches down.
