Holy xxxx I just looked up that Stiletto reference. Leaving aside government agencies, who would buy a $200 hammer?

Maybe someone who thinks they are still used?

It's titanium, who would have thought to use that in a hammer? Maybe a stage prop in an upcoming James Bond movie.

I might have to call BS on the marketing. Claim that 16oz Ti hammer has same striking force as 28oz steel hammer. Anyone care to explain? F=ma the last time I checked.

If you leave the price tag on you have the added 12 oz. Once you remove the price tag, you resort back to a generic 16 oz hammer

Could it be the yuppie swinging the lighter hammer is able to get more "a" out of it??

I agree. To say its a 15oz hammer!

Best I can see is that actually weighs exactly 2lbs the same as my 16" Estwing 22oz framing hammer (E322SM) plus has a longer handle @ 18". The total length of the Estwing is only 15-3/4" from top the head to end of the grip.

There's some pretty good bantering on Amazon about it ;)

Well, it's not a tool, but I was happy to hear that Lincoln Logs are coming back to the USA to be made in Maine. The company is reportedly not going to raise their prices as a result.

I'm about to make a "Made in USA" complete fuel cell for a US Naval project at work. It will have 316 stainless endcaps with graphite flow plates. Not sure how much power it will produce yet.

I like that Timberline chainsaw sharpener 5030, except their website says they are sold out. Thinking of making my own at work on our 5 axis CNC mill. :)
