I'm currently looking to reposer both of my gravels. I was at harbor freight the other day and trust me I'm not a harbor freight guy but i did see a pretty nice 13 hp honda clone engine called a predator engine. It appears that engine will work with the reposer kit available. Anyone ever used or owned one of these engines. Thanks

Look at "smallenginewarehouse.com" for replacement engines.

I repowered my 30-year-old 5hp briggs log splitter engine with a 6.5hp Harbor Freight one, it works great. That said, it only gets intermittant use a few times a year.

did the same with the snow blower and rotor tiller .... both run fine as long as you avoid ethanol in the gas .... ( gummed up one carb )

I have a 6.5hp predator engine (from Harbor Freight) on my BCS 715 and it runs great.
I am sure there are better, but at less then a $100. How could you go wrong.
It starts up on the first pull almost Every time.
