Possible New Kioti Owner Here

Hello all, I may be purchasing (he's practically giving it to me) a Kioti from my neighbor soon. This will be a project, but it will hopefully turn out just fine.

I need a little help as i don't have much info for now because I'm at work. :confused2:

He says it is a 1999 or 2000 model, 35hp 4x4 diesel. He bought it new but it has been sitting for a short period of time as he has a JD to work with as well.

It runs and drives fine according to him, and just needs a fresh battery for starting and running.

I'm working nights tonight, so I should have some research time ahead of me.

What possible model is this tractor so that I can start searching for the parts that he says I may need to get her fixed?

He said the PTO is broke because someone that borrowed it used a heavy duty shear pin, and also he thinks it needs a new hydraulic pump as the FEL will not operate at all.

I'm sure I will have many more questions in near future and look forward to the learning curve ahead. Right now I have a David Brown 996 up in the country, and I'm wanting to fix this one up for use around the house back in town.

OK, it looks like it could be a DK35, can anyone confirm this by the info I gave?

Sounds like a DK35 but could possibly also be a LK3054. Look online for pictures of each to confirm. The loader not working could also be something more simple like a bad valve in the loader control. You will definitely want to get a hydraulic pressure gauge to tie into the lines and check the pressure first.

Ok, it is smaller than I thought, but he is talking about selling it to me for $300 or so.

It is a LK3504 with a KL128 FEL. I doubt it is really 35HP, but now the research begins!

The LK3504 is 35 hp and 29 at the PTO.

Are you sure it is no lk3054?

If so the hydraulic pumps were aluminum an had habit of failing that would be 400 or so if it is the pump after all

$300! Yikes, are you sure? If so buy it regardless of what model it is. Holy moly, that is a deal and a half.
