Positive battery cable on Mahindra max28

The positive battery cable connector is completely corroded away and has to be replaced. There is another wire also connected to the positive terminal that has what looks like an inline fuse holder.
Can anyone tell me what this is? Can I just replace the connector on the main cable?

G'day just fit a new terminal to the battery lead you should be able to buy one with an aux post so you can put a ring terminal on your other lead and bolt on
