Have you ever studied how ground and air charges move across the landscape? Lightning and lightning rods etc. There are always MOVING electrical field under foot. And under concrete floors. It's a possibility that wet cell batteries could be effected by such occurrences. Or not.....

Well guys, we have a counter top with a burn mark from a toaster cord. It was an inexpensive toaster and not being used at the time. Yup, it really happened! I was of the school of thought that how can it possibly do that with what appeared to be a good cord and not in use. I will forever more unplug the toaster.

But why care if they are in the accepted order? I've heard there's no reason for the order of the alphabet other than "that's just the way it is"...

Dang, I was just about ready to retire my rod and tube wiring from its current use as a grease gun holder and put it back into production carrying electric juice. Now I am I to understand it was dangerous? Is that what you are telling me or have I myth-conceived?
