I finally got a chance to try out the tractor after the dealer fixed the roof seal. Wow, what a difference! After a 15 minute warm up at 1,500 rpm I ran it up to 2,700 and started to blow snow, within 5 minutes I had my jacket off and was turning the heat down. I am now a very happy camper.
Makes a big difference doesn't it? Glad your guys in MI figured it out. I would guess we might also see an improvement in cooling in the summer. I did occassionaly have my A/C near the max on very hot, sunny days and I would guess the leaks were probably there in the summer. Probably mixing the outside hot air with the cold. I will still probably install a shut off valve in the incoming heater hose, just so hot water doesn't circulate through the roof. There is already a splice in the hose on the left near the cab for the valve.
By the way, nice snow blower. I have a rear one, but the front mount is really nice.
