Well did it work for you?

So far the pond is looking great.

I didnt buy the chemical from jones fish. They wanted $160 for a 1-gallon jug of diquat dibromide. (trade name is Reward)

Got the same stuff for $70/gallon delivered. Sprayed diluted 1/2 gallon with my 4-1/2 gallon backpack sprayer, put nozzle on jet stream so I could get it ~30' out in the water and did half of the pond 12 days ago. Within the first week the surface of the water is 90% clear as the weeds are receding. Been out in the paddle boat and there are no weeds withing 2' of the surface over 90% of the pond.

I mixed the other half gallon and sprayed today. So far I am liking this stuff and if $70/yr will make it look this good....I am wishing I did it sooner

Sorry I can't help. Grass carp ARE doing the job on my weeds in my 10-acre lake, but they are NOT working on the silver-dollar lilly pads I have all over the lake. At least Glyphosate/Roundup should work on those, I just have to get a trolling boat out there and surface spray the whole lake.

I wonder if a surface spray of glyphosate would help with your below surface weeks? I had giant lilly pads in a small pond and glyphosate shrivels 'em up like the wicked witch of the west. (very satisfying)

No aquatic glyphosate is a contact killer, has to be sprayed on something green above water
