Poll of CK owners on adding backhoe

I purchased my CK20 with the backhoe because it is better for digging than the suitcase weights I would have need to use the loader to it's full potential. :p Sorry, couldn't resist. :D I have alot of bamboo to remove and my son is starting a new home and needed some ditch work done and I just had to have it!

CK30HST TLB package deal all Kioti attachments. I needed the BH to install new septic system in 2005.

I bought a CK 30 hst with the loader and 6" chipper June 2005 and added the Kioti backhoe 2006. If I had to do it again I would buy the Woods backhoe with the thumb package, but I hav'nt had any problems with the machine or backhoe.

I wonder if any of the TBN active dealers might chime in to give us an idea of the proportion of tractors sold with BH by CK size.

It still seems to me that more and more new buyers are getting the BH as part of the package.

I sell 60% of my tractors with backhoes.
99% with loaders
95% with R4 tires

I went with a CK20HST TLB w/tiller,brush and fel due to the cost being cheaper than a CK25HST with only a fel, tiller and brush. I also have a job setup to remove 5 tree stumps next week!

I've been working with a dealer who sells both Kubota and Kioti. The CK20 HST TLB is around $2,800 more than a BX24. The CK 20 specs blow away the BX so for me it's a no brainer. The salesman even recommended the CK20 over a Kubota B7510 for backhoe work because of the Kioti's heavier weight and features that the Kubota didn't have.

Assuming those figures apply to the CK line I would hazard a guess that the proportion of BHs is much higher than what Kubota sells with its B series tractors. That would confirm my own suspicions that the Kubotas are sold disproportionately for mowing and estate maintenance while the Kioti CK's are sold to WORK!!:D

Those were precisely the reasons I ended up with the CK20 TLB. The Kubota's are fine machines but the bang for the buck and capabilities of the CK20 TLB make it an obvious choice for someone who knows they want a BH in a small tractor.
