What is the reason you wouldn't use a chainsaw for trees like that on the ground?

A polesaw is a chainsaw. We have limited carrying capacity when working on trails since we normally work via back-pack or a 6x6 so no room for one.

At work this week. This widow maker was 40ft long and on a houses roof while being 10ft off the ground. It came down safely with a pole saw. I should have been smart enought to get a photo of the tree and house, before i cut it down.
