I've read the ingenuity of our fine group of folks for quite some time. I have rented a really nice John Deere pole hedger with an articulating head that lets you stand on the ground and trim trees/hedges for a flat top.
I was wondering if anyone has ideas on attaching an electric (or gas) hedger that I already have to a pole that would give me the same effect. I've got a lightweight pole, but am wondering what materials to use to attach the hedger to the pole without adding too much weight.
