One of the reasons I have not been on the forum a whole lot in the last couple of months is that I have been spending almost all my free time trying to finish up the inside details of the barn. Last photo I posted was of a gaping trench in my yard getting ready for the electrical and plumbing runs. I'm happy to report they are now finished. At least enough for now. This was my first time a surface wiring with conduit, and I was pretty slow at it. But, everything is functional and I am still alive so I am pretty happy with it. Got the heat in just before the cold snap and all the snow...so I'm pretty happy with that also. Here is a pic of the inside with a couple of warm and happy tractors...now that they don't have to spend the winters outside anymore.

Very nice looking Bill. Is it a Morton? Where in Michigan are you located?

Grand of a setup Bill.
Looks like you have everything figure out for the future.
Wiring should be a snap..wonder what will be the total amp service..200amps.

Rob,
Yes, I had Morton do the building. Looked at other options but finally went for the quality they seemed to have over the others in this area. I'm pretty happy with the decision. Put in the full insulation and interior option...retirement is not that far away and I do need a place to putter through the winter.

Hello Thomas,

Not quite 200 amps. I had to run to a sub panel off my house service. I ran #3 wire out to the panel so I should have enough for my needs. By the way, while I was absent I was very happy to learn of your return to the forum. Many of us, myself included, felt things weren't quite right without your presence. Hope all is well with you!

Bill - Very nice! I didn't even know they made an EarthForce that small. If I had, I'd have put a couple of them in the bucket of the EF-5 when I brought it home. I could get them in the garage, even! I'll bet they the don't burn hardly any fuel.

And hydraulic leaks can be handled easily with a diaper change. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Great barn, Bill! I'm having to re-think my image of what a barn is these days. I've lived in houses of far less quality than your nifty new tractor dwelling.

Harv,
You don't know how close that one hits to home! Three new grandkids since September! Only one boy out of the five total, but the good news is that he thinks the B7100 is his. Now I will have to keep it!
