Pole Barn RV Cover vs Metal RV Carport ?

Can someone tell me the price difference between a Pole Barn RV RV Cover vs Metal RV Carport ?. Open sides

I have the means to build the Pole type RV cover, but wondered if a Metal RV Carport (TNT brand etc. ) is cheaper. I price a TNT type 18' by 36' with 11 feet legs for about $2185 pus tax, built on site.

Don't know 'bout the prices and such but a LARGE advanatage seems to be birds...
The metal canopy, many it's no possible for birds to nest inside them and make a mess of an RV with their bird do-do.

I did not think about the birds.

I have a metal carport over my RV at my deer lease and there are no bird nests on it. Definate consideration.
