Polaris working on other development of other brands machines

Not sure, this maybe common news and everyone in the free world knows it but me, but I thought I would share something I read in compact Equipment magazine tonight. They mentioned that Gravely (made the old Gravely 2 wheel tractors YEARS ago and have been building other landscaping types of machines since) and Bobcat (as in the skid steers/track hoe/etc company) both have UTVs that Polaris has engineering and parts/development work in. I never knew Polaris had any ties to the Bobcat UTV nor the new soon to released Gravely. The Gravely is a pretty Heavy Duty unit so I may be a real contender in the HD market place.
Hopeful as more and different units are released the UTV's will just keep getting better and even more reliable.

Polaris signed a strategic agreement with Ariens Company Polaris ATV, Snowmobiles, RANGER, Victory Gravely is an Ariens brand and they have a UTV now, called the Atlas JSV(job site vehicle), UTV expensive but worth a look. 2,000lbs payload and tow capacity.

I'd worry that the typical Ariens dealer would not know anything about a UTV. I bought a Gravely 0 turn, decent machine, but I have to order parts off the net. The nearest dealer is 50+ miles away, and he doesn't carry any parts. The guy I bought it from went **** up in the crash.

I doubt our local dealer will selling a whole lot of the machine due to the fact they are not well known and there are so many other players in the market. The Gravely dealer also carries Polaris here so hopefully that will help them with UTV repairs seeing that they have experience in that area. The only real draw back for sales of the Gravely I noticed right away was that it is pretty much a pure work machine and around us multi-use machines seem more popular. Don't get me wrong there is a market for pure work machines but in this area something that is good on the trail and good for hunting gets more attention. We are the home of the Hatfield and McCoy trail system!
