DOES ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM KEEPING THE IDEL AJUSTED ON THE POLARIS ATP'S

I have a 98 Sportsman 500 and do not have that problem.

I have a 99 Sportsman 500. No problems here but I don't know what a ATP is.

Its like a sportman with a dump bed .I thank this was the first year for it ATP 500 HO

My sportsman 700 is kind of that way. If it is cold I have to turn it up some and then after it has been running for a bit then it is too high. But then I don't ever really let the thing sit to warm up. I just kind of start it and take off. I only notice it when it gets below 20 degrees.

I have the 500 ATP, it too will die at idle. The dealer said to adjust it. I have not taken the time to see how to do it. It is bothersome times. I sure like this ATP, it is so handy round the yard plus great for hauling your stuff and dog (s). The cooler is just that................cool! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

My ATP I took my little dump bed off and put the polaris black dimond plated flat bed on it . The bed runs around 130.00 but my dog box sit in there much better when I go bird hunting . plus more room in the back.

I have a sportsman 500. It's very to adjust the idle; there is a thumbscrew sticking down from under the carb, clockwise increases rpm. No tools required. Just remember if you idle it up too high the gears will grind when you try to shift. Hope this helps.
