Plugging IZT Vent for Washing?

John Deere 5045D, Grasshopper 61" with PowerVac,Gator 825i, Cub Cadet 2145
Does anyone have a good way to plug the IZT drive vents? Will the rubber cone just pull off so that I can seal it well before washing?

Any ideas?
