I purchased the spoons from Agri Supply AERATOR CORE SPOON 3.5MM - Agri Supply

The 1" shaft came from Speedy Metals

The Flange bearings from an Ebay bearing supplier.

Most of the metal was scrape I found around the local area. I had to purchase 2 pieces that they sheared to fit. The unit is constructed with 3/8" and 1/4" high carbon plate steel in the PT tradition. The cost was just shy of $375.00.

Clay soil a lot of down pressure is necessary. The build is strong enough to raise the front wheels off the ground and use the aerator as the front wheels.
