How do you measure the size (12", 14" or 16") of a plow?

It is the width of the furrow, measured at the surface of the cut,from the vertical wall of the previous furrow to the wall of the furrow being measured. It can be effected by a few things besides the size of the plow, pulling straight probably being the most important. SteveV
