Please Respond ASAP How much to fix my well

Hi folks I've had a post on my well going that was popping the reset button the well folks made it out yesterday and informed me that my less then 4 year old 3hp Aeromotor well pump is dying. they had me keep resetting it yesterday and fill my storage tank as much as possible I got an extra thousand gallons before it died completely.
What do you think it should cost to pull 650' of well pipe and reinstall a new 3hp pump and a new control box up top? It may be to late to complain to much since they are supposed to do the work today but it'd be nice to be armed with some numbers as to what it should cost. If anyone has any ideas please share them, I've got a couple of hours before they start.

It cost me about $1250 to replace a 1 hp pump at 400 ft, that was about 4 to 5 years ago.

I've had to replace my well pump twice in the last 18+ yrs, each time was a little over $100, less than 300', and I pulled it up with my tractor each time for them.

Do you make your own pumps or repair them yourself or something, The best price I've found on an Aermotor pump that will push water 650' up is around $1,500 plus the well company is charging me $70 an hour plus mileage. They tell me it should take about 4 hours to finish it up and I already owe them for yesterdays trouble shooting trip of about an hour. They are supplying the pump instead of me buying it over the web so the pump will end up costing every bit of $1,800 I'm sure by the time they put their markup on it.

My problem was that my tractors were at my Vt property and the well in question was at my Ct house. As jdgreg used his tractor to get the pump and lines removed from the well, the pump guys use a Upsadaisey removal tool. Without that tool or tractor its tough to do with a deeper well. I dont see you can change the pump price with anything short of rebuilding an old one.
