Air France, eh? That kinda figures, remember AF Flight 447 that crashed in the Atlantic in 2009?
The black box recovered after the crash showed that while the plane was stalled and descending towards the ocean, the pilot was pulling on the control stick and the co-pilot was pushing the other direction, which the flight control system as it was configured, averaged the inputs and neutralized the controls.
