We have decided we don't want the greenhouse to have a floor, so water spills and over watering will just go into the ground. Probably will use gravel for the floor, maybe pavers for a walkway down the middle. One end of the building will be a shed and we plan to put a wood floor in there. Both greenhouse and shed will have the transparent polycarbonate roof.

My concern is how to set the pole where the building will be square. It is one thing to make a fence pretty plumb, but the building will have to be both plumb and square overeall. Having set posts for many a fence it would seem difficult to be able to be perfect in all dimensions. I fear that with all the post set I find that they are plumb but the building is not square - hard to get a post into a precise location. When you are building a fence you can tilt it both directions to get it plumb but the post might not be in exactly the right place.

I wonder if it makes sense to just put the poles in the holes until the girts are nailed up and the building is square. Then come along and put sakrete in the holes (or just tamp gravel).
