Planning on buying a John Deere LA 115

Has this model had any bad problems in the past? Is this a good deal or not?

Used LA115, 19.5 H.P. engine, 42 inch cut, comes with a dump cart. All for $950.00 and it been used for three summers.

Three years ago, I think that mower sold new for about $1500. I believe $950 is too much. If it has been maintained perfectly, I think $750 is a top price. Otherwise, I'd offer $650 depending on how tight the spindles are on the deck, the condition of the belts, and total number of hours (150 or less).

I gotta agree with Jinman, $600-650 would be a better price for a 3 year old LA115. And I'd be looking real close at how well it went up a hill and how smooth the hydro speeds up and slows down.
