I was watching a program the other night on the Discovery channel and they showed the phrase also. It was in a old movie clip of a computer company I believe. I did a Google search and found that many other people also use it in their signature line. I didn't find the original origins of the phrase, but it probably is out there if someone cared to do the research. Like most signature lines, we only use or borrow them, few can claim to have "invented" them. Junk...

Well, NCIS is my favorite program, and the second I saw the term in the show I though of Gatorboy, and thanks to him I knew what it meant.

NCIS stand for Naval Criminal Investigation Service. It is like a military CSI. I think it is a spinoff of JAG. I remember when they aired the JAG episode before they actually lauched the NCIS show. The format was all different and I was thinking if I am going crazy. I didn't like the NCIS format when they made it a JAG episode.
