Pioneer Quick Coupling

At TSC yesterday and was looking at the quick coupling and noticed different ones, single and double acting. What is the difference?

The sleeve on a Double action set can be pushed or pulled when connecting or disconnecting.

I went back and took them out of the package to try them out in the store last night. To me, the single action is easier to connect/disconnect. Maybe because that is what I am familar with and single action is cheaper.

I have use the two way sleeves for a while, and it is much easier to pull the sleeve and pull the hose at the same time, verses one hand pulling the QD sleeve back, and you pushing the QD fwd. With the two way sleeve, I can do the connection with one hand.

The Quick attach hyd fittings on the back of the tractor use two way sleeves in case you pull away from an attachment after releasing the 3pt and forget the hyd couplers.
