I was using my loader today and a pin was on a dirt pile it matched the pin on the jack stand for the loader . I am asking i only have one in the jack with a hair pull pin now . Has anyone removed the 270tl loader and does it take two pins to hold the jack stand?

Your manual should show you how to stand the leg out for the loader when you take it off and what to do with the pins. I take the 14 series loader off mine only rarely. Last time I did it, I thought it was a little tricky. Only when I put it back on did I notice that I had forgotten to extend the leg! Still worked out okay, just took a little more diddling around.

I have a DX55, with the newly named LX360 loader. My jack stand consists of 2 legs that each have a pin to secure them, one on the left and one on the right side of the loader. Each pin is held in place with the 'hairpin' as you described.

On my 16la there was only 1 jack stand that folded out. I looked closer today and found i have 2 stands as you said and one of the pins was missing so its fixed. Thanks
