Pink Tools?

Appreciate it, I want and the wife agrees (wow!) that these need to be quality. The rattle can gave me an idea of redipping the handles of some things if they make that handle dip thing in pink.
(i spray most of my tools in orange somewhere so i know they are mine)

My daughter was a little older than yours when she had an interest in building something, so we made a few birdhouses. Simple to do and the kicker for her was seeing the Bluebirds use the boxes.

I too, have seen the "pink" tools at Lowes.

That will be a great project Western, she loves painting too. I think you helped find our "winter project". She really loves the outdoors, the other day she had a pocket full of wooly bears and three crawling over her coat and hair. Laughing the whole time.
I am still finding them in the house.
I just recieved a coupon from lowes for 10.00 of 50, Ill have to run down there next time she has gymnastics.

Just a hint for Bluebirds, They seem to be attracted to blue colors on the box, so my daughter painted blue flowers on them:laughing: Now she's almost 22, so it's all I can do to get her to get her fingers dirty:laughing:

I'll second the rattle can. Had hand tools relocating them selves from a shop truck years ago, one coat of pink and they quit walking !:laughing:

Yup. Years ago, when I worked in an electrical generating plant, our department painted all our tools pink. It kept them from "developing legs" and the other maintenance depts wouldn't ask to borrow them.

I've worked in several plants and doing welding & maintenance. I painted all mine bright yellow for several reasons.

I've seen pink tools also at several places in past. Menards and HD or Lowes had them at the front tool area.

My 3 year old daughter would spend her time going through my rolling tool chest, I'd reached a point where I couldn't take putting all the sockets back in there spots after she'd collected them all again. I was looking for a pink tool box that would be her's and found this Pink tool Box - Pink Tools - Pink Toolbox Too much money for a "play" toolbox so bought an inexpensive craftsman rolling cart and we put pretty decals all over it- not she has her own tool chest to dig through right next to mine.
