Vin, How long do you have to cook a pig that size? I bet all your neighbors could smell it cooking for miles! Wish I was one! I would have been over with plate in hand! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Hi Von

Cooking time was about 11 hours. I lite the fire about 5.30 am to get a good deal of coals that took untill 8.00 am then i put the pig on. It cooked all day untill 7.30 pm. I was magic so tender, more tender than KFC. If you study the second photo you will see what is wire wraped around it, i did this because the pig started to fall apart by about 4.30. I did this will it was still rotating. I raced to the mig welder took the wire spool hooked it to the pig and bouned it up like putting cotton on a spool.
