Another Darwin Award Submission

The Mizzuz thinks she needs one of these in the new digs.

But first you got to pull it off the trailer.

But first you need to pad its new home with gravel base.

But first you got to get the gravel down to it.

So what could possibly go wrong? Let me see. . .

• 1/2 yard of gravel base in the loader hanging out front.
• 6 degree grade crawling down to the foundation.
• Brakes are only on the back of a tractor.
• Too busy to hook up the ballast.
• Tires are not loaded.

Sheesh. Sometimes I wonder. The R4041 is a well-balanced tractor. My trusty helper & progeny declined to be the operator. Once again, I really like the hydro & brakes on the left. One foot on the brake and the other hovering over the 'git' pedal. 4WD-Low. I was consciously telling myself not to get the 'go' & 'git' pedals confused (again)!

I only have five acres, and was told that I got more tractor than I need. Of course I replied, exactly what I intended. I bought the biggest tractor that I could afford and I'm glad that I did.

Hooked up my new to me blade for a test run. It's an older Land Pride RB3572. Just needs a little paint and it'll be good as new!

Just picked up a nice used 7.5' rear pull drive forward snow blower. Should make quick work of plowing this winter.

That looks like a R3039 with a Bush Hog blade...

It's a R4041H with a Bush hog 5006 blade. Plenty heavy duty for what i use it for. The mold board has a nice curve to it and works well for doing swells. Not so good when you get a heavy snowfall before the ground freezes.
