Got a chance to use my forks and thumb today. Yanked down a dead tree from the front yard this morning. Put an extension ladder up the tree, put a strap around the tree about 20' high connected to a 60' cable and gave a pull with the tractor and snapped it off. A friend of mine cut the limbs off and I hauled the limbs and tree sections off with the forks.

Does the backhoe on your tractor sit out way farther from the rear of your tractor than other backhoes, or is that my imagination?

I think that look is because I have a cab. This is the same hoe that would come on one without a cab I think, I'm not sure.

Hauled out a few cord yesterday for my neighbor. He just graduated high school and will be going to mechanic school this Fall. He's selling firewood to get some extra money, so I gave him a hand pulling out some trees.


The only problem was I was the one hooking up the lines and he got to do all the driving!

This is my daughter riding my grandson. I figure I would let her take hime around. He is 2 1/2 and he will turn, pull, push every knob, blow the horn constant, turn the steering.....just a absolute joy. When he gets there he says HEEEY poppie!!!.....tractor....tractor!!....So I get the key and we hit the tractor. He loves a tractor.
