Fixed the yard after a hack left it in a mess when replacing a waterline this winter.

Sort of smoothed out, till and derocked. Going to take advantage of this and plant Buckwheat as Green Manure and to break up the clay underneath., May get 2 crops in before fall grass planting time.

I had some leaning ash trees dropped about a week ago in my yard and cut up most of it yesterday. My wife took a few pics of our LS doing the majority of the work (thank goodness). I'd never had a tree service drop trees for me before, but there were too many obstacles here for me to safely do it. This is some expensive firewood.

Wow nice! Man that is a long trailer! How big is the trailer?

   / PICTURES ONLY thread #189
24 feet. 22 flat with 2 feet dovetail. I wanted one that I could haul a tractor with at least 2 attachments with nothing hanging off the trailer.

Is that once of those harbor freight pull behind backhoes? Either way, how are they? I always wondered if they wouldn't have enough ballast...

Brushog'd then 'cultivated' about an acre today... Thanks for letting me borrow your implements KenB2920, always nice to have a neighbor that shares! Now just need to find a disc...

Was busy most of morning with car stuff. Getting front end alignment on one of my classics. This afternoon I got my new dump trailer dirty and scratched for the first time. Made a few trips to the stone and gravel pit and brought home 4 yards of bank run and another 4 yards of gravel mix for a low spot in the driveway by one of the garages. Still have to get another 4-6 yards tomorrow to come out a little further. The right side (close to the garage only needed a few inches. The left side now has about a foot of bank run then gravel on top. When completed I'll have a place to park the trailers on level ground.

Nice trailer! I'd love to have one of those some day.

Okay, so I'm gonna break my own rule here ... but since the Massey forum is pretty boring, and since I started this thread anyhow, I'm gonna stray a bit and post some pics of my girl. She wants to show off, but that forum moves SO SLOWLY !!!

About to move/spread about 80 yards of topsoil:

Finally getting to put the U5030 to work. We don't get the snow that many if you do so summer is when mine will get the hard work. This was a little 9-10 acre patch I managed to cut and bale between weeks if constant rain (almost 4" above normal so far). The hay needs to be cut but many of my fields are too wet. Forecast for this coming week looks good. I plan to cut 20-30 acres Saturday afternoon if forecast doesn't change. Should be ready to bale by Tuesday afternoon.
