My little corner of the Missouri Ozarks was the bulls-eye for the snow storm. (Condolences to the Arkansas folks who got the ice.) So what to do with 9 inches and temps dropping out of the 20s? Fire up the tractor!
There is a technique to efficiently plowing snow with just the FEL. Someday I may know it. Still a little seat time makes it a good day.

Beautiful ... and on the technique, here it is. Tilt your bucket up about 1.5 inches or less above level, and put the loader in float, drive the snow that way. By keeping the bucket edge just off the ground, it will push the snow nicely without digging in.

My son is a long haul trucker and came by the farm to see dad. Got 9 inches of snow 2 weeks ago and it is finally melting but the ground is saturated. Thought it best he back his Freightliner through the gate to find a spot to park. Oops. Back wheels off the drive into the leaves and that was that: it was stuck.
Just another day in the life of a tractor. Absolutely no drama at all to yank it out and put it back on the road. Cool!

I built 3 buildings this year with my LS 4041H. The one on the left is the new home for the tractor. The door for the tractor is on the backside of the building behind the shorter of the two.

That Ratchet Rake is a great tool. That was actually the first attachment I bought for my tractor. I've found many uses for it!

Jaydee that looks beautiful! I can't wait for summer! It had been an extremely frigid winter here! Here is a pic of what I have to look forward to in the warm months and one of my truck buried in the snow today! I did it on purpose so I could use my tractor to pull her out hehe
