Thought I would show off Ohio’s 3rd wave of snow from yesterday. Rain today, no more snow for at least 14 days. :( only got to clear snow once this season.

That is too much snow for a blade, especially a blade with a hole in it,, you need a snow blower for those conditions,,, !!!

 , . ` ~

It's not too much snow because of the hole! Cut's down on friction;)

It always amazes me that those small tractors with front mount blowers work so well and blow the snow as far as they do. They must run the fan speed much higher than 540 rpm in order to get a small diameter fan to throw that far.

What is the actual impeller fan speed on the BX 2370? Most of those have a gearbox to reduce the rpm.

That's what I was wondering. Found this info on the Kioti website, which provides the info for their blowers. The front mount 72" blower fan runs at 719 rpm and the fan size is the same as my 84" Farm King. No wonder the front mount blowers throw so far. They will also process more snow, which means faster travel speeds, as long as the tractor doesn't run out of HP.
