Just used that title to attract some attention. I know this is one of the most hotly debated topics, what's the best set up for snow? Last year I had pretty good luck with the 60" bucket on my 4310 so I figured that the high volume 74" bucket would make things even better moving snow around my contractors yard and 350 feet of paved and gravel drive. When I was at the dealer picking up the bucket I spotted a used 60" JD rear blade in great condition, so I grabbed that to, Have no experience with rear blades but read so much about them here thought I would try it. It's a JD model 45, very heavy duty. more pictures will follow. John

It's called a light materials bucket but it is not that light duty, built the same as the HD buckets except for the reinforced side plates as far as I can tell. Here is a pic of the 60" HD bucket inside the 74" bucket for contrast. John,

Last pic for now, rear blade reversed for back scrapping gravel drive. Watch for future post showing more of my "bucket buddy", thats the receiver hitch on the top of the 60" bucket shown in one of the earlier pictures, (instead of just weld on chain hooks). John,

Great looking setup John, that's pretty much how I take care of our snow and it works well. Your next upgrade will have to be a blower at one end or the other. Oh yeah, a cab would be very nice too /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
