Gee, both my Kubota M9000's are getting to be vintage as well.

The open station is a 2000 model and the cabin unit is a 2002 and I use them both about every day, especially when running hay which is getting very interesting with rain events every other day or so. It's rank and very high but I cannot cut it as the ground is wet underneath.

Bought the cab unit new in 2002 and the open station 3 years ago from a JD Dealer in Northern Michigan and both run like tops and are of course paid for a long time ago.

I try to keep both in pristine condition. The cab unit has 3500 hours on it and the open station has 6000 hours on it.

That us a rotary rake. The rotary tedder is in the clearspan behind the picture and I rarely use it but I have it if I need it.

I'd like to have a twin rotor but all my fields are odd shaped so a wide rake really don't work for me and I can rake at 5-7 mph with that one.

No pictures, dad had a JD MT, three wheeler that he repainted. And a JD MC crawler in need of rebuilding the steering clutches and a repaint job. It was yellow. The MT was mostly green. Now he has a Curtis cabbed JD1070 bought new in 1999, used mostly for snowblowing. Jon

Had Dennis at my dealership crank both of them up a tad too. The open station is making just over 90 pto and the cab is making 91 pto. Both are very frugal on fuel and of course no emissions stuff to fail either. Been told the Kubota VTE engines are the best engines Kubota ever built. Been good to me is all I know.

I would agree with that on those engines. Years ago I tried to buy an M8200 or M9000 but couldn't find one. They are one of Kubota's best and bulletproof. Yours looks great.

Seeing all these great pictures really makes me want to own an old tractor. I don't have any use for it, no place to put it, and no time to work on it. But I still want one!!!!

You'll put it in a parade, go on tractor drives with the locals, etc. You'll pull a wagon in the parade and have a great time.You aren't working on July 4th anyway.

This is my IH Farmall Super C that I just put a buggy top sun shade on. Tractor drives here can go 30+ miles and it can be 90 degrees. Parades can be a couple hours long and at a snail's pace, also in the hot sun.

My John Deere 2020 diesel...about a 1960 model according to the dealer. Bought at a ranch auction 27 years ago and I use it just about every day.

My FILs first new tractor he bought with money saved during his AF stent in Okinawa.

JD 3010 Diesel.

My wife planted a field of beans on it when she was 9 years old. He was desperate for help and came and got her and gave her a crash course. It is now her tractor.

Tractor rides out here seem to all be about 60 miles long. Too long for me, so I haven't taken the D-17 out for one.

It's amazing how well those tractors were all built. Amazing backdrop. I'd have that picture on my wall.

We flat Landers can't even imagine having that as a backdrop.
