Cool! My 1845 will start (with lots of cranking) as low as 0 degrees but it sure would be easier on the starter to have a couple of those glow plugs installed. Even one would help. It hadn't occurred to me how easy an upgrade this is Thanks for the cool pictures.

That is way to easy! So how are you wiring it up to the dash? Into the key switch or something else?

I will post a picture of the switch setup soon. I just got in from the barn - was doing the final wiring on the tractor. Now I have my new front lights wired, a switch for the glow plugs, a switch for future rear/interior lights, and finally a switch for the flashing light (very irritating at night in the middle of nowhere but very useful when on the road). Everything but the flashing light is run off relays controlled by the key switch. I am using the existing circuit for the flashing light - this circuit is hooked directly to the key switch. Also got my Miny Tach wired up - thanks Carl for that one!!! Now I have to put all the covers back on, pick up the tools and use the PT to move some heavy stuff around this afternoon. My PT has been down for 2 weeks while doing all this so it will be nice to be able to use it again. There are lots of tall weeds that need chopping.
