I hate lawn thatch, have you considered using a flail mower equipped
thatching knives with a pick up basket that uses a hydraulic basket lift
to dump it to do this job in one pass?
I have considered this. But, most baskets or sweepers are small and I would have to dump it maybe 100 times on a football field. There are larger sweepers available, but they can get expensive and have only one use.

I have asked a few equipment manufacturers to build a small hay rake that I could attach to either my front-end loader, or to the back of the verticutter. If I could rake it into a row, I think I could pick it up with my grapple bucket.

The Harper Turf Equipment people make very large turf cleaners, their
TV60 Turf Vac verticuts and vacuums in one pass and is PTO powered.
The TV60 has a 60 inch pick up width and the hopper can hold 7 cubic
yards of material.

The manual for the TV60 turf vac is too large to upload here so you
would need to download it to your computer.

I have another massive tow behind turf vac manufacturer in my files
and as soon I find it I will post it here. This trail behind unit has a
full width vacuum nozzle.

This is a field we installed an irrigation system on about a year ago. Where we pulled the pipe into the ground left a small hump on the field. We used our Koro machine to shave off the hump. This is the same machine we use for lip removal on baseball fields. I'm very pleased with today's results.
I did not charge the customer for this work.

Going back and fixing something from a year ago is called making things right, that's probably why you have an abundance of work and a good name in your industry.

This is the Recycling Dresser. It will take sand from below the surface and re-deposit it back on the surface. It's topdressing without having to buy more sand. It is also aerating and a little verticutting in one pass. You must have enough sand already in the soil profile for this to work.

After the Recycling Dresser, we make a few passes with the UniRake to disperse the sand.

I went apply fertilizer to the field we planted on May 23. It's 26 days after planting now and I'm pleased with the progress. I'll start feeding it fertilizer about every 2 weeks for the next 60 days or so.

Got 2 loads of warning track material delivered today. We will install this on an old walking track at an elementary school.
Just after I took this pic, he lowered the trailer quickly because it was about to go over on its side. We've had lots of rain lately, and as he lifted the trailer, the back wheels began to sink in the soft ground.
We ended up dumping the rest of this load and another load on the driveway.

That's an interesting trailer. I've never seen one that lifted one of the wheel trucks.

I had a dump truck nearly stand up on its tailgate in my lower yard, fifteen years ago. Idiot raised the bed without unlatching the tailgate. I was waving and hollering, as I watched the front tires come off the ground. Luckily, it sat back down straight when he finally caught it and lowered the bed.
