Tractor
Belarus 572, Farm Pro 8240
Finally took pictures of my Farm Pro 8240 at work. In the woods Koyker 310 loader collecting cord wood. Put a cutting edge on the bucket - Mag drill and $125 cutting edge from a local construction equipment supply company. Also shows th 8240 in the field I mow. The 310 bucket holds approximaetly 1/4 cord per load.

Have 35 hours on the tractor and couldn't be more please. No problems what so ever thus far. Included are a few pictures of my 1992 Belarus 572 with Farmi winch. Sitting next to the Belarus is a Hawkline HD 84" blade.

nice pictures. How do you like it so far? Any complaints?

Also, do you have any pictures of inside the cab?

I've had a 35hp and a 40hp come through here but the cabs are not finished inside.

Hi Mike.....I updated the album. There are 4 pictures of the inside on the 1st page. Considering I paid $26.5K for the machine delivered I'm very pleased with it's performance. I can only compare it to the Belarus so I can't use my experience to compare it to Deere/NH Ford/Kubota/MF or any of the others. I mowed the field last week in sweltering heat and humidity with the Air BLASTING on high cold. I ran the turbo at 2200 rpm for 2 1/2 hours and the machine worked flawlessly. The coolant temperature went to 3/4 scale and stayed there. The controls are easy to use and (for my needs good). Once I got used to the speed selection I became confortable with using H-1, H-2, L-4, L-3. The pedals are easy to access with about a 6 inch throw. The machine is well designed and is MUCH more stable than the Bellarus (beast!). Turning radius is very tight and the 4WD really, really works well. The right heel differential lock got me out of a few "slippery" situations this winter. 4WD is very easy to engage and disengage on the fly via left hand side floor lever. The oil in the engine is just beginning to discolor after 35 hours and there aren't any leaks.....the only wish I would ask granted is a highe GPM hydraulic pump. Hope that helps.

thanks for the pictures.

The cabs on the 35s/40s are unfinished. They have a plastic headliner and that's it. I was curious as to how the bigger tractors were finished.

How do you find inside the cab for noise? The smaller fotons are extremely loud inside. The sound resonates.

There is more noise than The Belarus, but the engine runs at a higher RPM. There is a "harmonic" that runs from 1500 RPM to 1600 RPM and the headliner vibrates. It's annoying enough that I avoid operating in that range for any length of time. I can't compare it to a Kubota/Deere, but it's not so loud that I feel it is an issue. Chip may be able to provide more about the cab noise compared to other tractors.
