pictures in the wrong file.

HELLO TO ALL,
i have tried to post pictures, but i have the pics in the wrong file.
it should be in a jpeg file, and i cannot figure out how to put the
pics in this file. i am running win. XP, HOME. if anybody can help
me, i would sure appreciate it.

What you really mean is you have your photos in the wrong format.
What format are they currently in?

You should be able to open it with Microsoft Photo Editor and Save As... another format by selecting the type at the bottom of that Save As dialog box.
