It has taken some time to get the tractor down to the lake front due to the amount of trees and terrain. I have spent a fair amount of time clearing out juniper bushes, large rocks, and trees to get the tractor down to this part of the property. In celebration I took a picture and because I know everyone likes pictures on the forum.....I decided to share.

Awesome tractor. I love the grapple/backhoe setup. You are well equipped to get the job done.

Beautiful looking rig, thanks for the picture... Mind you, it does look to be suspiciously CLEAN! ;)

I know.....I sprayed it with fluid film. It also only has 35 hours on it and I don't have any fields just forest. It would be nice to have a field to cut.....I find I am always in low gear dodging trees, going up or down hills or battling stumps.

As the weather cools down it will start getting a lot more work with firewood season coming. I'm looking forward to using my new wood splitter.

Nice, that grapple would be real-handy here in Oregon during the fall salmon run..........:D

Hi Kryton,

It looks and sounds like you have the right rig for your terrain and property type!

It looks solid and awesome!

Does your screen name mean that you are a Red Dwarf aficianado?

If so, then nice smeggin tractor/skutter, or is it a Red Starbug, Lt. Smeghead!?

If not, forget I said anything.

Mr. Trask,

Too funny, also I love your signature!

Thomas

Seriously, a pal of mine was wondering which brand-name and model# is attached to the grapple; so if it isn't an imposition......

I never heard of that preservative, so thanks for that; I might try it.

It looks like I could attach lures to the end of each fork....

Thanks in advance.

Caricatures; ah yes, the good ole home-brewed political cartoon technique. "I'm freezing" "I walked for ever......" "Sergeant, I can't feel my feet". "We need to take care of the middle class".
