Picture posting?

Can someone help me figure out how to post pic's
When I try to post I get a error to big?
How would I make them smaller?
I'm using a Canon Sure Shot, and I'm not even sure where the manuel is...
I've got big projects goin on here and would like to share and get opinons and advice.

First of all, adjust the camera to take shots at a low resolution. If they are still too big, (they need to be under 100kb) use a free to download program called pixresizer
