I never pressed front dual capability as we wouldn't need it, but heard of the European vs North American front axle difference and made an incorrect assumption. I see that the ability to dual the front on John Deeres requires an expensive front axle upgrade that spreads the front wheel bearings among other things. Just looking at the Kubota M7 front axle it doesn't appear capable.
While at our dealer last Wednesday, one of my neighbors bought the M7-151 standard the dealer had on display. I'll be checking with him frequently to see how things go. I didn't ask him what he paid. Dealer promised me a quote on a M7-171 KVT but as he knows it will be at least 5 months before I'd be buying, he's in no hurry.
Some version of the M7 has adjustable width rears and have seen pictures of the M7 with duals on the front.
Can't get the pictures to attach, but found them by googling Kubota M7171. Finally got one, then noticed the first post has pics of the adjustable axle.
