need help on figuring out how to get pics of my tractor onto here from my computer-or from my camera-which ever would be easier-i have a New Holland 3930 that i rescued from the boneyard and have been working on when able to and want to post pics of it on TBN
O.K. hang on for the ride. This is the Microsoft method:
1. Since you are able to post a new thread, just scroll down a bit and see in blue, "Attach Files". Look down a bit and see "Manage Attachments"-click it open.
2. You will see four "Browse..." boxes. Click the top one open. It probably might show "Desktop" or whatever. SCROLL to "My Documents" or wherever you store your photos, mine are in "My Documents".
3. Once in "My Documents" or your storage area, click open your selected photo file and it will appear in the "File Name Box". To the right of the "File Name" box, click it open.
4. It will then revert back to the four "Browse..." boxes window. The upper box will not state the file name, just the location of the selected file-FORGET ABOUT WHAT IT STATES, just click on the upper of the two "Upload" boxes and watch for the blue progress bar in the lower left hand corner which will be loading your selected photo image. When done, just click "Close This Window" or mouse out of it and click to close.
5. YOU HAVE TO PROMISE ME-Dock your photos down to 640x480 pixels BEFORE you post them. This is out of courtesy for a lot of our members who for one reason or another just can't down load properly those double/triple screened billboard sized snapshots. Pictures are what gets you helpful feedback from the TBN members and if a qualified expert out there balks at a drive-in movie sized photo down load-your answer may never be posted.
I hope this helps, yes, there are a few steps required to post a pic but TBN is a very simple and effective method to do so.
Welcome aboard.
