It's been about 3 months since I got my new toy, but until yesterday we didn't have a digital camera. So, I thought I would post some pics of my almost new Kubota. This first picture is after a hard days work yesterday spreading 16 yards of topsoil (1 tri-axle dump truck load) for my father in laws new retaining wall. It only took about 2 hrs to spread and would have gone a little quicker if the area I was working in wasn't so tight. It was in a little area by his driveway with a lot of trees that I had to work around. The little BX1500 was just the ticket. If my tractor had been any larger we wouldn't have been able to get it in the tight area where we were working.

Thanks for the great pics,thats a sweet looking BX.I have the same exact big tex trailer as you,they are the perfect trailer for the Kubotas...bucket right up against the front lip,-perfect tounge weight.The dealer screwed up when i bought mine,they accidently put the wrong tires on,giving me the7000 lb rating.We noticed it the next weekend when we went back to buy a spare.No i refused to give them back...im sure his garage monkees got a good chewing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your right techman. It does look a little bit stub nosed. Actually, the shorter front end and the smaller tires are two things that turned me on to the 1500 over the larger 1830 and 2230. That and the lower price. The combination of the two makes it look a little more like a garden tractor which makes it fit in better in my subdivision. Plus it fits in the garage better and turns a little sharper.
I've had the Big Tex trailer for about 2 years now and it has come in handy for all sorts of things. I actually bought it to haul our ATV's. Because of the width and not having side rails it allows me to load them from the sides and I can haul as many as 4 ATV's this way with ease.
Of course it also makes an excellent tractor hauler and I've used it to haul a few of my relatives and friends much larger tractors as well.

I have same trailer, except with 6' ramps. My deck rotted-out pretty quick. Attached pic is after painting and rewiring. before new deck. Used #1 pressure treated this time.
It carries a BX23 ok.

Yeah, the wood that comes on these trailers is supposed to be pressure treated but I wouldn't exactly call it high quality. I put a couple of coats of Thompson's water seal on mine last year to hopefully make it last a little longer.
