I'm wanting to install a set of remotes on my B3030 for a TnT and possibly a 3rd 3PH-mounted implement. I've read lots of threads on installs using the Prince valves and cylinders from Surplus Center, but haven't read of anyone that has went the factory route. I've taked to my dealer about the factory remote set-up, but would like to see pics of it before I decide which way to go.
Does anyone have a B2630 or B3030 with the factory remotes? Can you post pics? I've searched this forum and Googled it but have come up with nothing.

For anyone that does have the Factory set-up:
Do the levers mount on that empty panel behind the 3PH lever on the right hand side? Are they easy to access when you're turned around to the right to look at the implement as it moves?

Is it really a cleaner install than a Prince valve mounted on the ROPS?

I appreciate anyone's input before I make a decision one way or the other.

Well, I contacted Kubota Customer Service and received the included attachment showing the installation instructions. That helped, but pics would be great if anyone has 'em.

Thanks,

Sorry, i can't remember who has them...... but i know i've seen pics here of a member's tractor with the factory dual remotes. I don't think the pics are in a discussion about rear remotes though. They look good.... as you would expect, a very "finished", professional looking install. Shooting from the hip, i'm thinking it was mentioned that the dual remotes were well over a grand installed....... maybe more like fifteen hundred? I've seen the pics here within the past three months or so, just don't remember exactly where.

I have one factory remote - cost $600 installed with tractor. Just got the kit to install the second one - $450, me doing the install. Has float, which I could see using with the hydro top link.

B3030 has 2 slots for the remotes in back of the cruise control/position control. Really clean looking install. I'd say cleaner than Prince on ROPs, and easier to reach - I use my current one frequently, find it a comfortable position.

Charlesaf3,
That helps. Thanks. I want a clean install. Since the ROPS doesn't have the bend, a valve assembly like the Prince would seem to stick out in harms way if mounted there. I'd like to save the money with a self-engineered system but don't want to shear it off on a close tree, or my hand if its hanging out there.

The B3030 Options page in the Whole Goods Catalog (attached) shows several different options for valves. It seems if all four items in the box at the top were installed you would get two complete valve/remote circuits, one floating and one non-floating. Any idea what the additional valves and kits at the bottom of the page would be for? BL7373 refers to a "3-position" Detent Valve. Does that suggest to you that 3 remote circuits can be installed in that same location? I'd love to have a joystick for TnT, AND another control for an implement-mounted cylinder. Am I getting greedy?

I ask you opinion because your dealer may have explained all of the options to you before you made your choice. Ultimately I'll have to ping my dealer to see if he knows what all of the options are.

Again, Thanks for your comments.

I bought from Neil Messick on here - he knows a lot.

Only space for 2 factory remotes. If you want more than 2, you need to go aftermarket. You probably have the 2 blank slots the remote controls go in - did you have a chance to look?

Joystick for Tnt would be nice. But even 2 levers beats my current approach!

Here is a picture of the inside cab controls for the rear remotes. I have two installed which is the max on the B3030. I don't have pictures of the remotes themselves on the outside but it is a very clean install above the 3 pt hitch.

Charlesaf3,
I'll talk to my dealer but if they can't explain the different valve options, I'll give Messick's a call. Thanks for the lead.

amigauser,
That's what I wanted to see. They do look like they belong there. The install directions show the valve(s) and hoses well tucked in. It also makes me think that a joystick just wouldn't be feasible. The levers look kind of long. Do they feel pretty sturdy?

THe picture amigauser posted is the exact same on my non-cab. Aside from the cup holder in a vaguely sane location...

Levers are very sturdy. And long indeed - they go through the slots pictured through slots in the deck.
