I will be picking up a CK35 HST soon and was wondering about which rotary cutter to purchase. 5 ft or 6ft? standard or medium. Any suggestions? I will be cutting mostly fields with lite brush.

Thanks
Steve

They usually say 5 pto hp per ft. is a good combination. I prefer the med. duty even for light work as they should last longer . You want your cutter to be at least as wide as your tire tracks , more is better . If your brush is light you should be able to get by with a little less than the 5 pto hp per ft. if need be .

Thanks, I think I will stick with a 5 ft then and go with the medium. Cannot wait to start playing.

If you are cutting lite brush I would go with a standard duty cutter.Maybe bush hog or woods brand cutters.
