Yep, she's happy I got what I wanted. She knows I read everything I could, watched every YouTube video and researched all of these for months before finally pulling the trigger.
She also knows that I only want equipment that will outlast me and still be in good shape for the next generation to use on the ranch.

My EA experience...a little different.
I live well within the EA "free shipping" zone.
EA offered "free shipping" to me, for an additional $200.
Of the extra $200, $125 was for distance from freight terminal, and an additional $75 for lift gate service.
EA "free shipping" for me, would have been to a freight terminal 85 miles away.
To any reasonable person, "free Shipping" means, ...... "free shipping" TO ME!
"free shipping".... to a distant freight terminal...... is deceptive advertising in my opinion.
EA has a link named "Free Shipping Info" on their home page, along the top of the list of links so it is very visible. There is more info on that page regarding their shipping policy than most sites offer. For those who are curious, take a look for yourself:
EverythingAttachments.com has a huge free shipping zone!!

I was offered lift gate service, for and extra $125 (I think).
Now that I have it all home, I don't see how a guy with a lift gate and a pallet jack could possibly unload that tiller or cultipacker by himself.
My 68 HP tractor with 60" forks barely picked those up. Granted, I had to pick them up from the end because that is the only way they would fit on the trailer.
I know I wouldn't want to be the poor schmuck that had to unload those off a truck by myself.
I have moved some pretty heavy stuff around with a pallet jack and its not a big deal as long as its flat and free of junk.

That's failing to do your due diligence - freight companies ALL CHARGE for deliveries to residential locations because of access issues and lack of loading dock access - liftgate service costs on top of that because they A: have to send a specific truck and B: the driver has to perform labor to get it off the truck - his time is money.

If you had a business with a loading dock, then the free shipping would remain free; that is a freight market standard and EA is not to blame for that.

Thanks for the clarification! ....now I understand!
Perhaps it was Blain's Farm & Fleet who skipped the "due diligence" part.
I have placed 3 separate (heavy) implement orders with Blain's over the past two years, and had each of them shipped to my RESIDENCE! There were no residential delivery charges, and no lift gate charges!
Each time, Blain's has shipped the exact same (KK) implement as EA might have. The Blain's price including shipping cost, was well below what the total with EA "free shipping" would have been.
Do believe me, I made the comparison prior to ordering.
Blain's is also 200 miles more distant from me than EA (outside the EA 1000 mile zone).
The freight company OBVIOUSLY messed up the charges ....... all 3 times.
Shame on those freight dogs!
Apparently they do not even know their own rules!

Sounds like you have found a company to stick with! Good for Blains!

I'm curious why you didn't buy all your equipment through a local dealer?
